I purchased The Little Mermaidfrom Sim-DVD on Dec 11 as a Christmas present for my girlfriend.in the product details, I believed the dvd to be a genuine Disney product.
Not only did I receive the dvd after Christmas on Dec 27, but the dvd was a bootleg version shipped from Thailand. The last 3 chapters of the movie were missing, resulting in the movie cutting short and going straight to credits. Completely disappointed, I filled a complaintvia their"contact us" form, but have not received any response. The company supposedly provides a "100% Money Back Guarantee, " but does not provide any contact information or valid background information on the company. TheirReturns, Exchanges& Refunds policy states: "We operate a fair returns policy, if we make any mistake with your order then we would offer you afull refund, including postal charges. If you make a mistake we will do our utmost to help you if you are polite in your communication with us! A returns authorization must be requested by email prior to the return of any product, full returns instructions are provided with the packing slip that accompanies your order. We can accept unopened DVDs for exchange or credit, however you must request a returns authorization within 5 days of receipt. Please bear in mind that if you wish to exchange an unopened DVD then you would be responsible for postal charges not exceeding actual stamp costs.in the unlikely event that a DVD is faulty you may request a returns authorization and then return the DVD, faulty titles are extremely rare however in the event that a supplied title is tested and confirmed as faulty we will replace the DVD and we will pay the return postal costs." I personally believe this company is a scam; it violates copyrights and distributes bootleg movies for a profit. I have cut my losses with any expectations of a refund or exchange from this company and I will take this as a learning experience. I only wish to warn others from my mistake. Please do not do any business with this website.
