Told by both reps and tech support unit was a lemon! Will not do anything! Fire-hazard 212f degrees

1 Year ago I boughtan HP DV6 Intel Core 2 Duo Laptop for roughly $1000. The Unit immediatelystarted having problems! I bought the laptop from CostCo. They literally waiteduntil the day after the 90-Day Return Policy expired to call me back after Icalled them days earlier! I bought my HP for Video Editing and Rendering, theUnit would heat up to 194F when doing normal tasks like web-Browsing, and wouldget up to 212F when trying to render video! Me and my Farther who used to workfor HP for R & D have spent hours on the phone, getting the run-around fromCostCo to HP, Back to Costco, and then to Costco's 3rd Party tech support whodon't care and do not have any power to do anything! The Power supply isunderrated for the Laptop, not being able to give the Laptop even half of thepower to properly run and charge the laptop. Over 2 months the CPU was tryingto compensate for the Extreme Lack of Power, and burned up most of the internalcomponents. Because of this, the laptop cannot be repaired, nor can it bereplaced because the newer units have the same problems and are moreexspensive. This puts me in a Twilight-Zone esc Grey-Area where my 2 YearLimited Hardware Manufactures Defect warranty will not cover a refund. It'sget's better, i have been told over the phone and by hp reps i have a"lemon" which i have been told means the laptop was defective beforeit left the factory in china. And still i have not been able to get any moneyback for my $1000 paper wheight that is also a fire-hazard! My battery is noton the recall list, my power supply has been replaced twice and both haveburnt-out at high temps, and i cannot even charge the laptop because they wantto charge me for a 3rd power supply which they have told me over the phone isdefective! I have exchasted all other options! My last ditch attempt is to getin contact with michael finny, a consumer watch dog for 7 on your side, abcchannel 7 san francisco. Hopefully he will be able to expose HP and their Products to be Faulty, Unreliable, and the Horrid Truth behind HP's business Practices!
