Classmates.com
This horrible site has 'stolen' $78 from my account for renewal of my & my husband's account, $39 each

My credit card has been automatically charged $78 by Classmates.com without permission. Once for my Classmates site and once for my husband's. I am a senior citizen and can barely afford food and medication and would NEVER have signed up for this.

After researching this on Google, I have found that Classmates.com has done this to thousands of people... Probably more. Most people don't check their bank statements very carefully and miss this illegal charge.

I never gave permission to Classmates to do this and I have gone to their site and unchecked the automatic payment method... Which I never checked in the first place but there is no way to get my credit card off their site. I have also sent them a message, via their site, that I would be filing a complaint against them unless they immediately refunded my money... But I do not know what government agency handles this.

Something has to be done to stop this illegal practice. The complaints I have read state that Classmates refuses to refund any money. This cannot be allowed.
