Effective Web Solutions stated that they can get our business on the first page of google and that we would be making lots of money with the traffic coming in. They emphasized the money that we're losing if we didn't use their seo service.
So we tried it out, and in 1 month they got us on the first page of Google at #9 position and started charging us $1000.00/month. At first we were happy that we were ranked so quickly, but our business phone wasn't ringing. Their sales people kept telling us that they would get us at the top 3 position and we would be charge per month. Well this did not happen, we're at #9 and being charged, now they are denying the statements.
So all the fancy talk about making money, was a smoke screen to get our little business on Google at the low position and chargin us for it.
