Transport Adapter is Ridiculous - COMCAST CABLE TV

My new High Definition tv worked just fine until I was forced to use Comcast s digital transport adapter. Now all of the HD channels are gone unless I install an A/B switch. All the features of my TV and TV remote are now useless. I am forced to use their unprogramable remote. This is the biggest backstep for technology I have seen in my 30 years as an IT professional. Whats their answer? Buy their additional services, use their boxes, and buy a TV that only has channel 3 and no other High Tech features. The only people who benefit from this change is Comcast and their Bank Account.
