Andrew Rosenberg Total Ripoff

Had similar experience posted by others here. I contracted with Sitemakers.com's Andrew Rosenberg to design a website in Oct. 2008. Like others, found them through Guru.com. Sitemakers promised for a fixed fee to provide as many rounds of ideas and changes until I? Was completely satisfied. There were endless and mostly unanswered voice and email messages for 5 months, with endless excuses, attempting to discuss and nail down the design of the site. The first round of concepts finally arrived 4 months later in March; was completely amateurish, not at all like samples on their website. Entirely ignored my detailed, clear and concise written instructions, directions, and highly organized set of image and text files. Due to excessive delays and unacceptable work, Andrew finally agreed in May to refund my 50% deposit. However, they never followed through, even with the urging of the Guru.com host customer service staff. I wasted 7 months of valuable time and close to $1,000 in funds for nothing. I made the mistake of paying up front 50% deposit. If you use Guru.com, be sure to use their escrow payment system. I was offered a discount by Andrew to not use this feature, big mistake.

I Strongly recommend avoiding anything to do with Wimberly/Induvia. If anyone is thinking of organizing a class action suit against Wimberly/Induvia, I'll participate.
