Do NOT waste your money on the "Amazing Cover Letter Creator" software! There is absolutely nothing "amazing" about it! It is a total scam!

The makers and promoters of this super-cheap (1990's-style) software want you to believe that you tell it what kind of job you are looking for, how stiff the competition is, and how much experience you have, and *POOF! * - out pops the most amazing cover letter you have ever seen. This in NOT how it works.

ALL IT IS is a (small) set of templates that you cut and paste into your word processor, and customize to fit whatever job you are applying for. And when I say "customize", I actually mean more like "rewrite", because the cover letter templates provided by the software are super-f*ing generic..

My mom was duped into buying into this scam today (against my strong protests). It was actually much WORSE than I expected. You can find MUCH better cover letter templates on the web for free. Don't do it!

Furthermore - A MAJOR part of this scam seems to somehow involve paying 3rd-party individuals to promote the software on the web, so that any skeptical user cannot find any bad reviews on the product. One of the major selling points on their web site encourages you to type "Jimmy Sweeney Cover Letters" into Google to see "some real proof" that this software "can help you achieve results beyond your wildest expectations"..

It is true. There are THOUSANDS of hits on Google for this product. ALL of them are sparkling, 5-star reviews (of course). ALL of them consist of 1 review by 1 person. ALL of them direct you right back to the amazing-cover-letters.com home page.

If you try to leave a bad review on any of these "public" product review sites, you will either be promptly kicked of the site (really!) or your be told that your review is "under moderation", but it will never actually appear anywhere on the site.

Jimmy Sweeney is a real piece of work. I hope someone, in a position to do so, will put a stop to this scam (and others like it - there are MANY) soon!
