Scamed me, sold me a laptop with the wrong software and a bad hard drive and/or software illegal Kept Crashing via Ebay

On November 9th I purchased a laptop through e-bay from Rochester_laptop_services. When I received it it appeared to be OK. Well it Blue screened me on the second day.

I attempted to load the backup and it was not the right software for it. I notified the seller and within the next two weeks I received an Apology from? And the proper key code. It loaded and crashed again in two days. I went ahead and reloaded again, and again, to attempt to fix.

Needles to say I never got it working. Meanwhile I didnt realize you only had a 45 day window via ebay to get anything taken care of. Otherwise you are tottally out of luck.

Unfortunately, the seller was aware of this and played me out by saying he would take care of the problem within 2 days if I returned it to him at my cost. Well he still has it, apparently is not selling anything domestically on e-bay, and Im out over $200.00. Being a diasabled marine on Social Security this is alot of money.
