Brakes in less than 2 weeks, claims my fault

I ordered a Toshiba laptop off of the Best Buy website. I have had the laptop for last then two weeks. I was sitting at my desk last night and i turned it off. After work today I turned it on and I have a inch wide white line dowm the middle of the computer. I was shocked. It was on my desk the whole time and no one has touched it. I went to best buy and they claim it is my fault. That it is a pressure break and I broke it. Offers no assistance, tells me I am out of luck. They tell me try calling bestbuy.com. No offers on getting it fixed. I have had this laptop for less than two weeks. Call best buy about 5 times. First four times when I was transfered I was hung up on/disconnected. 5th time I called they said I can send it in but if they told me it is my fault I will get the same result when I send it in and have it returned to me unfixed. They also told me call toshiba to pass the buck. It is unreal, i have had this laptop for less than two weeks and they blame me for selling me a lemon. Very disapointed, they should fix my compute
