I just opened a new pizza restaurant in Colorado Springs and with a limited budget was looking for an affordable pos system to take orders and track sales etc. I was looking for used equipment on craigslist and came across Rocky Mountain POS. Curt Hollis contacted me and came to my store to do a demo for me. I liked the software and the affordable price tag but had no idea what I was in for. I placed the order with him and set up a time for him to come to the store to set the system up. When he showed up he had not ordered my system and instead set up his demo equipment. He would return in a week with my system and install it. A week later no word from Mr. Hollis. Finally the following day I get a text message from him telling me he was snowed in on a hunting trip. I recently moved from the mountains and have never seen a hunting location that you could send text messages from. And if he could text, why couldn't he call? Fianlly he showed up 2 weeks later and installed a used computer and software registered to a company in Denver that had gone out of business. I called him and told him that I was not satisfied with the computer and wanted a new one. He said that is what he does, refurbishes old computers and pawns them off to unsuspecting consumers like myself. He never told me that he uses refurbished equipment. As a matter of fact he led me to believe it would be a new Dell pentium 4 book pc. He kept telling me how much faster the new computers are compared to his demo unit. He agreed to replace the used computer with a new one and after a couple of weeks of avoided phone calls he finally showed up with the "new" computer. It turns out to be a new case with old components installed. What a sorry son of a b*h this guy is. I hope anyone looking for a deal on a computer system has the forsight to search for this guy here before doing business with this jerk.
