JamesDeans3RedLightsFix.com promises to show you how to fix your Xbox360 within one hour, using common tools, if you buy their downloadable instructions and videos for only $29.95. They also promise to get back to you withnin 48 hours if you have a problem and contact them.
I paid the fee and downloaded the instructions, which right away told me it was necessary to buy a special tube of cooling agent online, so of course I had to wait two days for that product to arrive. I read and reread the instructions and watched the videos several times to make sure I understood the instructions and could follow them, and then I performed the steps exactly as shown. The fix did not work.
I carefully retraced my steps and performed the "fix" again, and it did not work. At this point, I contacted the company, which was difficult because they warn you that the website will change and even though I put it under favorites, it kept showing up as "Cannot display webpage" so I had to type it in each time.
I then waited 48 hours, then 72, then 96, etc. They did not reply to my first, second, or third email and I had to contact the online bank service which processed my transaction. They did contact me and promised me a refund, but if it wasn't for my persistence I would've been completely taken.
