Complaint Description

From the very start of service with AT&T I had problems. Problems to the extent that I had to call corporate and get presidential escalation. There customer service is very rude and argumentative. My final complaint is that after canceling my service 10/14/09 and getting a reference number 1-1656025662 I was still billed on 11/14/09 for service. I called and was greeted by a very rude agent so I asked to talk to a supervisor and after waiting 10 minutes talked to Mrs. Adams. She was also very rude and claimed to have canceled the service. She would not give me any reference number, case number, her badge number, her extension, all she would give is her name is Mrs. Adams. Finally she disconnected the call. She hung up on me at the beginning of the call and called back claiming that the phone disconnected. I do not believe that was the case. Warning to everyone, Do not let AT&T direct bill a credit card.

I would like my $50.00 Deposit and $42.95 11/13/09 42.95 10/13/09 I canceled my service on the 11th it was the weekend and I talked to support. I called again on the 14th and talked to billing.
