GEEKS.com - Computer Geeks
Geeks.com sell defective merchandise repeatedely and then drag out the refund process needlessly

Internet & Web

I have been thru this ordeal with computer geeks for several years now. They sell parts which suspiciously turn out to be defective on a very high percentage of time.

When you contact them they tell you to ship it back to them on your own dime. When they get it back they tell you to wait for up to 5 days for action. Then after the alloted time then send an email telling you an additional 7 days are required to process the return.

I would make an educated guess that they are selling defective returned items back to their customers and or they are selling known defective stock they have purchased in bulk from distributors.

If you start any type of claim against them they will email you a return shipping label

But they don't tell you they will do this at first. They wait until you have mailed it back on your own first.

I am making this report in hopes of giving others a chance to avoid the frustration of dealing with this company.
