Purchased a notebook computer, IBM. Battery was DOA. Contacted manufacturer & was told the battery warranty expired while at Overstock prior to my sale. Overstock sez send the battery back for a replacement. I did but they later claimed they never received it therefore "go purchase your own battery". They refused to allow me to return the purchase because "it didn't have a battery". Now top this: I purchased an extended warranty at time of purchase but was told batteries are not included. Several emails and tele calls brought no satisfaction. I spent $100 on a battery elsewhere.in short order the notebook failed so I trashed it. Was more expensive to repair.
I have spread the word to anyone that will listen NOT to purchase anything from overstock.com.
