The Great $12,000.00 Rip Off - It's A Steal!

Internet & Web

How do you lose $12000 in one transaction? Easy, sign up for a 5 day seminar with the Internet Marketing Center.

I did this in July. I spoke to a man called Brent Fincher. Whilst I was thinking about this the phone calls e-mails and attention were almost smothering. Now in August the chances of getting an e-mail or a phone call are almost impossible. Before I parted with my hard earned cash a response would take less than 24 hours it can now take days or even weeks.

I am not even sure if Mr Fincher is there anymore?

I signed up for a 5 day live seminar held in Manchester, England in July. It was supposed to be the best Internet marketing seminar money could buy. I would leave after 5 days with a "money making website" "Guarenteed"

I had done a little research on the IMC website where current users could post notes for help and guidance. It was there that I came accross a female who had posted her concern that she had made next to nothing in over 9 months. This did raise some alarm bells but I was told by Mr Fincher not to worry about that it would be an isolated case.

After several further conversations with Mr Fincher I decided that I would go ahead and pay the $12000.00 fee required to attend. I was assured that I would leave with a money making website and that my financial worries would soon be a thing of the past. Not having the funds to do this was not an issue, I could just max out my credit card.

BIG mistake. Now a year later and after many calls and e-mails to IMC I find myself further in debt than when I started. Not only have I lost $12000 with the fee but a further $1000 on Google Adwords which they recommend to drive traffic to the website. I didn't even choose the topic for the website, it was said to be a winner by one of the IMC trainers at the seminar.

Brent Fincher knew from our discussions that I could not afford the fee. He also knew that I did not have money to throw away trying to get traffic to the website but still insisted that everything would be ok.

Did I walk away with a "Money Making Website"? Well yes, in 7 months it made around $54.00. What a fabulous return for a $12000 investment.

In my opinion The Internet Marketing Center should be shut down. They are nothing but liars who prey on people who need to make money in a way that does not confine them to set hours.

In my case it was an option for me that suited my needs. Since my wife died from cancer at the age of 36, I was left to look after my two young boys who were 2 and 5 at the time of her death. I thought this was an ideal opportunity to be able to earn an income from home and be able to spend adequate time with my children. Brent Fincher was also aware of these facts.

Now I have been left in a position where I struggle to keep my kids fed and clothed because I have gotten myself into debt which I could have done without. All because of False Promises, False Advertising and False Hopes.

My advise to anyone thinking about investing in a seminar or any product from IMC is to stay clear. While Mr Gehl can consider retirement with the millions he has made, you will be left with a pile of debt like I have been.

IMC are the scum of the earth who do not care about anything except taking your money and leaving you high and dry.

You have been warned!
