Account limited and funds held 180 days after check request

Hello, I made a PayPal account within the last week or so, and my son accidentally ordered something off eBay for $200. No problem, the seller gave him a refund. He then tried to put the money back in my checking account, and it said this checking account is being used in a different account. There is NO WAY that we have another account, so that is one problem right there.

So now I have $200 sitting there in my PayPal balance, so I let my son go buy some stuff for about $54.00 off eBay. Now I have about $140 in my PayPal balance, so I called PayPal and asked if they could help me put the money back in my checking account. They could not help with that, but they could send me a check, which they did. But this is at the end of the month (bills to pay), and I have to wait two weeks for a check. OK, I might bounce some checks and mess myself up, but at least I am getting my money.

About two to three hours later, my son checked the status of the check to see if it was sent, and I now have a limited account because of suspicious activity. I called AGAIN, and they said I have to wait 180 days before I get my money. That is 6 MONTHS. Are you kidding me? I have also read on the internet about PayPal, and they have many lawsuits against them. I would like something done about this, because I do not know how they are OK doing this to people.
