Web hosting, no refund policy screwed

Hostmeister.com, LLC is a web hosting company operated by Michael Stuben.in June of I configured a newly buit computer running Vista Professional.in attempting to reestablish my connection information for Outlook with the e-mail accounts I had associated with my domains, things stopped working intermittently. While Michael did attempt to recommend some solutions to this problem, ultimately I had to take my hosting business elsewhere.

In order to reduce the billing burden on Michael, I prepaid for my hosting 6 months at a time. Michael and I had been colleagues in a previous capacity, so I mistakenly extended trust where it did not belong.

Once I switched hosting, about 6 weeks into my prepaid 6 momths, I asked Michael to refund 4 months of the hosting, which amounted to $120. After the run around for about a year, and indications that I would be refunded "when he got around to it", he finally indicated there was a no refund policy.

I acknowledged that I was not asking for a refund on the used portion of my hosting period, but on the unused portion that was prepaid as a courtesty to him. That's assuming he actually had a no refund policy, which he doesn't. There is no posted refund policy, which as of today, July 22 is not posted on his website, nor was there ever. He has no signed agreement from me indicating a no refund policy.

I prefer to do business with people of integrity. For him to fabricate a no refund policy, where else where will his integrity breaches show up if you are his hosting client? For him to not cheerfully refund a lousy $120 bucks speaks greater volumes about his character that any words on this page.
