Uses Manipulation & Deceit in classic online 'BANK ACCOUNT SCAM' re: Fox News Report

Internet & Web

Several weeks ago I noticed that STOCKMARKETVIDEO.com had charged my NEW credit card account number WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT, after the one I had on file with them was already closed (my account records verify this).

Only AFTER you initially subscribe to STOCKMARKETVIDEO.com do they disclose that by default your credit card or debit account will be automatically charged for subscription auto-renewals, but of course you can simply cancel at any time. Kind of annoying, but no problem you think. Well, think again. These people employ every possible method they can to delay and prevent you from canceling your subscription, including INVALID EMAIL ADDRESSES, NO ACTION BY TECH SUPPORT to correct this problem, NO REPLY TO A USPS LETTER, and a BOGUS BILLING / ANSWERING SERVICE / HELPDESK (the department changes within the same phone call; the phone contact refuses to identify herself, and makes false promises to address your problem). So, you've been Auto-Renewed; what now? This is the first time most people actually think to take a close look at that user agreement or explore more obscure areas of the web site. SMV.com knows this, and they count on it. This is where they bury Important Key Information like once we manage to charge your account, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS sucker!'. This is NOT a simple case of oversight or error by an ethical online merchant; this is a carefully designed and coordinated Master Plan by STOCKMARKETVIDEO.com to take money from the accounts of subscribers through Manipulation, Deceit, and without their Expressed Informed Consent!
