They have been charging me 69.90 every month since March... I've had it!

Well as i have typed in my title i have been getting charged $69.90 every month since March and just found out about it this month. Admittedly I let it go the first month when I got my bank statement and an overdraft fee notice pertaining to the 69.90 even though i didn't recognize or remember a charge for that amount (being i had recently been unemployed, i thought i wouldn't be careless in spending that much in one clip).

I looked at the statements and decided to look up the number that was on my statement (which claims to be in "MN" (Minnesota) and the first thing that popped up was a bunch of complaints about the company under the search term "8004974988", including complaints from this site. That's when i found i am being scammed. Wonderful feeling isn't it?

The only thing is that the sites listed that are run by pacific webworks doesn't include the one and only site i've been to (to file for unemployment) that was running a *government grant site* through their website (*"the Unemployment Advisor"*) which had me pay a dollar something to get a brochure on grants and other programs that were supposed to HELP me with my MONEY situation. A friend of mine told me i had gone to the wrong site and i didn't think anything was gonna happen to me like this. I haven't done anything yet, but i'm sure i may go to my bank and dispute the transactions, close my current account and open a new one which will also mean a new debit card.
*on this site they asked for the routing and account numbers on my personal checks for a direct deposit option—i guess the deposit was for them.
*on this site i paid for the brochure using my debit card

I think that's a good way to at least stop the internet site from taking $ from my account. Is this agreeable? Disagreeable? Starting out in the right direction?
