XM Labs
Accessed my credit card information for charges never authorized

Internet & Web

I received a call from an alleged online jewelry store stating that they were calling to confirm that I place an order. When I stated no they attempted to confirm my address. I declined to give them my information and requested the card number that was being used.

The person refused to provide me with the number but provided me with the last four digits of my card. I immediately contacted my credit card company and informed them of the call I received. They reported no charges from a jewelry store but multiple charges from an XM Lab.

I explained to the credit card company that I have never been to an XM Lab and did not authorize he charges. The bank attempted to conact XM lab at a 1800 number listed next to the charge and was placed on hold for several minuets.

Bank then placed a 3rd party call with me and the company and again we were on hold for several minuets. I explained to the bank that I never placed a charge with XM Lab and never heard of XM lab and that I believed them to be a fraudulent company based on reviews online.

At that point Robert (allegedly a supervisor) came on the line stating that he could not provide information on the company and refused to speak with the Bank representative. Th bank has placed the charges in dispute and encouraged me to contact the local attorney general. To this day I still do not know what XM Lab is.
