InstantBuzz.com - Mike Filsaime (maybe Also Butterfly Marketing)
Trojan in a internet marketing software tool

Internet & Web

I was invited to use InstantBuzz to promote my sites online. I visited the site, saw the video and proceeded to the next page.

Also it claimed to be Virus and Spyware free, I choosed to download instead of running the installation program directly. At 90% of the Download the ALWIL Avast! AntiVirus stopped the download and told me that traces of a trojan were found.

The message was: Win32: Spyware-gne[Trj]

I retried later with the same result.
What scares me is that Mike Filsaime is credited to be one of the Big-Gurus on affiliate marketing. Could it be that made part of his fortune using spyware?
It also seems that Grisoft AVG Antivirus doesnt detect the trojan.
There could be more than 12000 users in danger. Be careful!
