I ordered candle making supplies from this company and asked that they verify the color on an item before placing the order. I was interested in purchasing a large quantity of glass dolphins but wanted to make sure the color was what was shown on their website.

They waited a long time before even confirming their receipt of an order so I thought they were out of business and didn't think more of it.

Then I received an invoice from them confirming my purchase of two different items. When I received my package I received only 1 item and it was missing part of the order.

The problem is this: I didn't even get what I was really wanting and I had no opportunity to know they didn't have the main item I needed. They didn't call or email me to say they didn't have the dolphins. On their website they do have an inventory system that says if something is out of stock and what I ordered was listed as available. Their policies on their website also tell customers to check back later if something is out of stock. Their policies also state that they charge a 20% restocking fee.

Well, they sent me a short order on the one item I was using as a "filler" so I could spread out the shipping costs. I would not have ordered that item alone and they also shorted me on that and haven't credited me for that item.

Now they think I should pay to return the unauthorized order they sent me. Unfortunately these are small items and because they charge ridiculous shipping to send something that could be sent in the mail for a couple dollars, this makes the items they sent me extremely high priced. What a scam!

According to Affordable Craft Supplies doing business as Gelstuff.com, they can do whatever they want to and if I don't like it then I can return the items at my own cost. So, they want me to pay to ship them back something I didn't even authorize they send me in the first place.

Their practice means you could order $50.00 worth of goods and they can send $1.00 of goods but charge $8.91 to send it. And if you don't like it then you have to pay to return it. They have lied about this transaction and I have reported them to the FTC, the Tennessee Better Business Bureau and my bank.

Their scam is bait and switch and it is a way for them to advertise having goods they probably never had, charge someone, and then take no responsibility. I have tried several times to resolve this with them to no avail.

Do not buy goods from www.GELSTUF.com - they are a total ripoff. They won't even answer your phone calls or call you to discuss problems.
