Aol took money from my bank account after I cancelled and refuses to refund it ripoff business from hell

I cancelled my aol account on 12/31/02 before the next billing cycle. I was given a cancellation number at that time. I asked my husband the next month if he had noticed the fee in the checking account, and he said that he did not.in March I was looking at our account, and I noticed that aol had taken 3 months of fee's out of our account.

I called them. Got one of there very unhelpful robots... He told me that I had not cancelled. I gave him my number. He disconnected me. I called back and had to sit through propaganda hell once again. I finally got someone who said they would give me 2 months of the 3 that they had stolen from me back. I could expect a check in 7-10 days. That was a month ago.

I have attempted to e-mail, only to get the same run around on line. What a helacious organization. I want my money back.
