Anything you buy registers you in a "Membership" that will continue to take money from your back account - even though you only authorized the purchase of one game

I have had the same issue with Big Fish games that other people have had - I purchased a game and only authorized that one purchase. Unknowingly I entered into a membership deal and then was billed each month automatically.

I immediately realized what happened and tried to cancel my account and get my money refunded. They don't make that easy. They don't list a telephone number so I had to comb the internet to find it - BTW for frustrated customers like me it is 206-213-5753

I then called the number and you are greeted with an automatic taped message - I entered the option for customer service/technical support and was transferred, the phone ran several times and then another recording told me they were experiencing high call volume and that I should either email them or call back later.

I called back and this time hit zero for the operator - and I finally got to talk to a real person. I told her I wanted someone in technical support or customer service and was told she couldn't transfer me but she could take my number and they would call back. Here I told her no that wasn't acceptable and I wanted to talk to a real person and I was pretty sure she was capable of transferring a call. Finally I got a real person.

I told him my issue and he did refund my last automatic deduction and cancelled my account. He assured me that the membership is spelled out in the terms of agreement but I sure didn't see it when I signed up.

Don't fall for Big Fish Games crooked ways - buy your games from a dealer who is honest and doesn't try and scam your money away without you realizing it.

The sad thing is I liked their games and would have kept buying them on my own if they hadn't tried to scam me with this membership deal. Big Fish - you just lost another customer and I will tell anyone who listens never to buy from you.
