Jeff Mould, CEO and President of Announce Mobile, Inc. (AnnounceIT platform), is a con artist that has been been on the Venture Capital circuit demoing his non existent product (AnnounceIT) for several years. He's received thousands of dollars in investment money and has signed several contracts with various vendors by demoing an imaginary product that only exists as a flash presentation on his laptop.
Jeff had almost conned myself and a group of my friends; all IT professionals in the DC Metro area, into investing, developing and managing his cancerous company.
After weeks of research it was discovered that Jeff Mould:
1. Had several law suits against him for non payment of services
2. Had not paid his Annapolis based attorney for several months
3. Worked as a fry cook at Charlie's in Bethany Beach DE
4. Faked a car accident so he wouldn't have to attend an investor meeting to discuss finances
5. Has told me and others (3 times) that he was on his way down from DE to attend a 10AM meeting and never showed up.
6. Lives in his mom and dad's 2 bedroom apartment in DE
The icing on the proverbial cake with Jeff Mould was when he told the team that we won fourth place in the TechCrunch competition and would be going to San Francisco for a demo... It turned out that Jeff had lied, we didn't place at TechCrunch and that if we wanted to demo it would cost us a bit over $12K for hotel and airfare.
Jeff has signed an agreement with the Emerging Technology Centers (ETC) in Baltimore, MD. Http://www.etcbaltimore.com/. Jeff cites Neil Davis of ETC as his advocate and Announce Mobile board member.
