Offered free cd, except paying shipping, then started charging for services I did not realize were part of the deal, hidden charges

I was inticed by the free cd for grants to send my children to college. This cd would lead me on the path for college monies. Just pay shipping.

I recieved the cd was not very helpful and never looked at it again or thought about it again. A few months went by. I was careless on my bank statement and did not catch charges that were being made to my account.

Once I noticed them I called the number and canceled them, then was informed of other companies that are charging my account also. I was told I agreed to these charges from these companies. I did not intend to. Aggreements are to lengthy for a free cd I missed the part about the extra charges.

The charges were not large and was on my checking account card and I did not go through my card charges dilengently. I was being charged approx. $60 between the companies and not always the same charge each month.

I felt completely taken advantage of. I admit I became to relaxed on my checking card but that will not happen again. I just want to make sure people know.

I am not wealthy and can not afford this. I have turned this into my bank and filed a complaint but doubt anything will come of it.
