Rip off on compute

CEC had an ad on the television to get a computer and rebuild credit at the same time. They called it a type of layaway plan. They needed $99.00 to assure that I was in good faith of the deal and then $36.00 weekly from my bank account until I got it paid off. After five weeks I was supposed to receive the computer. This was in late April that I paid the money and they began taking the $36.00 weekly from my account.

After the fifth week I received the paper work to fill out and send back in, which I did. I heard nothing from them for weeks and then I received the same paper work that I had already filled out. I filled this out and sent it to them. Weeks went by and nothing. I called them and after many days finally got them to answer. They told me that the drivers license that we photocopied and sent in was different then our new address.

We went to DMV and got that all updated and faxed them another copy of the drivers license after that a few more weeks went by then my husband finally got hold of them and they said that we should have called. Then they gave him a date of december 12. Well December 12 came and went and still no computer. He called them again yesterday and they said that they had tried to call us. I was laid off from my job two weeks ago and I am home most of the time. They did not call. This company needs to be shut down I have paid in over $800. I know there are others who have been taken by this company.
