Do NOT subscribe to FreeCreditReport.com. No... It does not provide a free service, and it sucks money from you deceptively.
I had trouble viewing my credit report and was directed to a page that signed me up for three reports. I did not want this, so I closed my browser before I even finished the process.
FreeCreditReport.com charged me $29.95 (within a few hours) on top of the $14.95 I had already paid this month... A total of $44.90 for one-month of service. When I communicated with FreeCreditReport.com about this, they gave me a "tough luck" response and said that I was only charged $25.95, when it was really $29.95.
FreeCreditReport.com is by far the worst of the worst. I have never felt like such a victim to Internet deception. Something needs to be done to protect consumers from such an industry.
