NASDAQ OTCBB: CYDE, Run By: Gary Guseinov, Bing Liu, Igor Barash, Michael Barrett, David Bruggeman, Jerry Puda, Scott Wade, Sean Whiteley Rip Off, don't work properly, they miss a lot of viruses, false sense of security

I recently purchased the Cyber Defender antivirus and spyware package. It first started on their website, they said they found spyware on my computer, after doing a full scan of my computer. They say the antivirus and spyware is free, then to remove it after doing the scan, they want you to purchase their software. I purchased it and ran it for a bit, then discovered problems with my computer not functioning properly, running slow, shutting down, lots of problems.

After removing cyberdefender and using another anitvirus program found viruses, spyware, and lots of trojans in my computer that cyber defender never picked up or stopped with their scan, or in the daily updates their software wanted to do. Cyberdefender refuses to refund my money.

When you do call into cyberdefender customer service (California Number) you get some guy in India talking to you that is really hard to understand, doesn't speak English properly.

Be very cautious when purchasing antivirus software online. I am suspicious Cyberdefender is a false sense of security, it looks good, sounds good, but don't do crap for protecting your computer properly. Maybe they pick up on some things, but didn't find it to worked properly for protecting my computer.

I am very suspicious that the people who run Cyber Defender Corp are a bunch of rip off artists that scam the public with their anti-virus/anit-spyware software.

Think twice before you let them scan your computer, don't just fall for their line of things being free.

I feel ripped off, thanks CyberDefender for not refunding my money, really sad that it has to end up on this site. I do feel ripped off and now realize that I will never, ever get my money back. All I can do is learn from being scammed. I will never purchase software from them again. Beware of CyberDefender.

I will also be filing a compliant with the FTC with the following allegations:
False Advertising, Misrepresentation to the public and fraud.
