I applied for a credit report from this web site. It required me to enter credit card information. After entering this information I called to cancel it. The site I went to aswell as the 1-800 number I called states you get a free 30 day trial. The person I spoke to on the phone took my information, gave me a conformation number for the cancelation and stated it was canceled. Shortly after I recieved an e-mail asking me to come back to them.
All was well for 7 days when my credit card was charged the $12.95 fee for the credit report. I called the 1-800 number again to see why they were charging me. They stated it wasn't a 30 day trial it was for 7 days only. I told him I had a conformation number for it being canceled. He states that they always put notes in the computer when you cancel and my account doesn't have one. I told him I wanted my money put back into my account. He stated they have a no refund policy.
I told him I wanted to speak with a supervisor. He said they didn't have one but that I could call 1-877-524-5981 monday through friday 8am to 12 est. I am in est but when I call this number it says to call back during buisness hours. So I called the 1-800 number back and they keep transfering me back to the same recording.
