ATT Broadband ripoff abused & mistreated liars wasted my time Sacramento

On Monday, Dececember 30 I arrived home at approx. 5:00 PM to discover that my cable reception, on both TV's was out. I called ATT. After about 1/2 hour on the phone, I was told, there was no outage in my area, that they did not see what my problem is and they would not send a technician to help me.

After being transferred to another technician, I played the "snow" sound I was getting on both TV's to prove I was not making this up. I was then told that a repair person would come out Tuesday December 31 between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM. I called twice more to verify if I needed to be home. I was told both stories, be home and you don't need to be home.

I had a friend come over until I arrived home at about 12:30 PM. I saw the cable repairman come to my complex, go to the manager's office, I live in apartments, and leave within about 3 minutes. No repairs were made. After about 6 phone calls, at 6:30 PM on New Years Eve, I was told no one could fix my cable until Thursday, January 2. ATT sent an on call technician at about 7:30 PM December 31 who showed me he could not fix the cable as he did not have access to the locked box. On Thursday, January 2, my cable was fixed, late morning.

After having less than one day of cable service, I arrived home on Friday, January 3 to find my cable was out. After calling and holding for some time, I was told there were major outages in my area due to wire upgrading and that cable would be restored at 8:00 PM. Having walked the complex, and, noticing that several TV's were operating in my immediate area, I called back. The same story was repeated.

I made another call, and, after about 45 minutes on hold, I was told that a "must do" appointment was scheduled for Saturday, January 4. I was told to wait home 13 hours, between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM. I explained that access to the cable equipment box could not be obtained unless the office was open, by 5:00 PM, closed 12:00 to 1:00 PM for lunch. I was told, that was the best they could do, too bad, sit home and wait. I did. I called the on-line appointment verification number on Saturday, January 4. I was told, via computer, that my appointment was for January 7 between 8:00 and 12:00 PM. I called customer support and was told a technician would be there on Saturday, January 4. At 6:30 PM on Saturday I called and was told, there were no outages in my area, and my appointment was for Tuesday January 7 I have no cable. It will be 9 days, less about 10 hours when my cable was corrected the first time, except the reception in my living room was still poor, until I might have cable.

I tried to write ATT on the internet but could not get a connection. This company does not believe in customer service. They lied to me several times, wasted my time and cost be lost wages.
