I answered and ad what I thought to be a ligimate employment situation from a gas company which is based on the internet with statistics photographs titles and phone numbers of people to contact it gives the illusion that the company is based in Germany with contacts in Russia who are trying to get established in the US and they need agents Representatives to help them.

Letters of welcome and instruction were received, it all seemed ligitimate because they used an energy company as the hook. Impressed by their portfolio in the internet, I responded to the employment ad and approximately two weeks later I received the first check via FedEx in the amount of $3,920.

I was overwhelmed by the prospect of the check being ligit I completely lost it and deposited the check into my bank and waited for it to clear. They tried to pressure me into forwarding the funds to another prior to the bank clearing the initial check I resisted the pressure and waited for the check to clear and it is a good thing I did all I lost was a $10.00 fee for the counterfeit check.

I am still reeling from the prospect of how easy I could have been scamed for $3,920 by utilizing a counterfeit certified check I am writing this letter in an attemt to prevent this from happening to anyone elsle.

Fortunately for me my bank was suspicious from the outset otherwise I would have been out of $3,920. The scamers told me I could keep 10% of the funds which as it turn out would have been $392.00 of my own money. These people need to be stopped before they hurt a lot of unsuspecting people.
