Billing for something I didn't sign fo

I made te mistake of signing for a $1 admission to an adult website. But called and cancelled the following day. But I was then billed for a monthly membership which I did not want. As a consequence, I found my credit card billed for $59.70 by a company called EPOCH.com which I contacted and they refunded the amount witout any problem.

Billed $39.97 by PAYLVENT1.com which is in a holding pattern with my subscription cancelled and hoping for a refund. Billed $38.90 by PEISPACCESS PBBILL.com that cancelled the subscription and is refunding that amount. Billed $38.72 by THEGOLDSUPPORT.com that cancelled the subscription but refuses a refund, and billed $34.61 by FORNINPASS.com that is either the same company as THEGOLDSUPPORT or at least the same billing company. They cancelled te membership but likewise refused a refund.

So how did this all come about? I did visit a site called www.shelikesgirls.com where I paid $1 to show I was an adult and have a look. I then cancelled the following day. But it appears my credit card information was given other sites that I never visited.

Additionally, my computer was infected by numerous viruses, trojans, worms, identity theft and password stealers. I had to reformat my hard drive to get rid of it all.

Well, I certainly have learned a lesson. Don't even think about visiting any adult web sites. This amounted to nearly $180 sucked out of my account which actually is a debit rather than credit. It necessitated I contact the bank and the debit card has been cancelled to prevent any other billings. And probably the worst of it is that the actual companies billing are not identifiable to anything you might have been familiar with on line.

I think I ave learned a hard lesson here. I will not in any way be using credit, debit, bank account or any other personal information on line in the future. Oh yeah, nearly forgot. I had to get rid of my former e-mail address as I was being hammered by Spam as well. Over 100 a day for porn sites, Viagra and the like.
