Wish I had known! I returned a Mad Dog HD Enclosure that was not working from the start. Sent all the documentation, RMA number, etc. Have not heard a word from the company in weeks. Seems they've changed their phone number and posted a bogus phone number on their web site. They have not answered repeated emails. Company must be out of business. If not - it won't be long. Do not buy a Mad Dog product. They boast of their service and warranty, but neither is existent.
