Pragauto - Introbe - Cardoorconversion - Wholesalelambodoors
PRAGAUTO - INTROBE SYSTEMS - WHOLESALELAMBODOORS - CARDOORCONVERSION sold me a kit, but the doors didn't close! So, it must have been a wrong one

This happened in November. I found their website: www.pragauto.com. I looked online about some fraud alerts, and I couldn't find any; it must have been right after they changed their name again!
I ordered the kit over the phone from a guy who calls himself Joe Colegrove (probably a fake name, too).
I was assured it would be the right kit and that I would get it in 5 days.

After 2 days, I called again to get a tracking number, as I didn't hear anything from them. The customer extension: 3 is always with a voicemail message... So I called again and I was lucky to get the same guy in sales (probably he's the only one there).
He suggested that I sent an email to the customer service, because they and only they have access to that info, but in his system it appears that it was sent!
I sent an email, no response.

In the meantime I started suspecting that something was wrong. I looked on the email with the receipt and I found cardoorconversion. Doing another search on google for "cardoorconversion fraud" I came up with a lot of complaints about this company. I called again, this time not at the 800 number but at the direct one, and I got the same guy who seemed a little surprised. I asked him about the connection between PRAGAUTO and CARDOORCONVERSION and he said there was no connection between them, and he assured me that I would get the kit.
After 1-2 days of waiting and no email with tracking number, I called my credit card and informed them about this. They asked me to wait a few more days and see what happens.

A week later I got an email with a fedex tracking number. The item was shipped from California, but the label was from Ohio, so it was probably drop shipped.
I called my credit card again and told them, and they advised me to try and see if it fits, etc.
After I finally got the package, I looked inside and I didn't see any warranty, and besides the hinges looked pretty rough quality, and some screws were loose.

I called again and this time my call was blocked, it said, I couldn't make a call from my area! I tried from a different phone and I got throgh for the last time.
I asked the guy about the warranty, he said it's in their systems, but if I want he can ask somebody to email me a warranty. Of course, nothing received so far!
I went with the car to a shop, and they tried to install it, first it seemed OK, but then after tightening the screws, the doors wouldn't close. The guys even knocked on my car, but no success!

I called the credit card again, and after 3 months of sending papers, returning the item to Ohio, faxing proof of shipping, etc, I got my money back, but no from Pragauto, from my credit card!
In the meantime I looked online about all the names used, and they all belong to Rafael Melendez, he owns all these domains, and you can find the info looking on a whois website.
Maybe somebody will put this guy where he belongs!
