I never activated my account, but they charged me anyway. Minneapolis Minnesota

I was on line looking for at home work. I entered their site and realized how much this was going to cost me on a monthly basis. ($39.00) So, I quickly got out there. As I was leaving, there was a small note saying that I had to click on this link to activate my account. If I didn't activate my account, there would be no further charges. I never activated. But, they charged me anyway. When I called, I was told that there was no way they could confirm if I had used my account or not. I don't believe that. But, at least they said they wouldn't charge me again. So, hopefully, this is finally over for me.
