Ebay ripoff! Taking payment for items never sent!

I went on eBay looking for a nice wedding band for my fiancee. He is unique, so I wanted something unique for him. We found a beautiful band that we were very excited about and paid the fair price but outrageous shipping charges for it, then waited patiently for it to arrive.
Turns out we were waiting a whole month. I tried to contact the company, and after I got a response that took 2 weeks to receive, it was nothing more than an abrupt and rude two sentence email informing me that the item had been shipped and their records indicate I received it.

Of course, I tried to contact them yet again to tell them that I had NOT received said item, but heard nothing. I then filed a paypal claim to retrieve the money I had paid for it. Not only did they never return any attempt to contact them, but AFTER the claim had already been decided in my favor, they left nasty feedback, like they had to several other eBay members who had the same situation.

Yes, I was not the first one this happened to. I was shocked they were even still operating, but I guess their sales were keeping them in business. I responded to their feedback with a comment about how many people they had ripped off, and within two days, everything had been taken out of their store. The account is still active as of now, and I am worried that they will start up their bad business practices again.

Filing a claim was not enough for me, I would like very much to make sure that these people are put out of business. Taking money for items that you either do not ship in the first place, or aren't bothered to make sure they are received by your customers - well, that is just plain thievery. I truly hope that their ripoffs are over, but with people such as this, they will just drop one scheme and start another.

If you ever come across this seller, run the other way!
