Computer Repair This company shouldn't be allowed to use "computer" and "repair" in same sentence

While on vacation my laptop computer went down. Since we were staying 2 wks, I decided to have a local Myrtle Beach company do the repair. Seaside Computers said they could have it fisxd in a couple of days and it would cost 250.00.

They called in a couple of days and said it was ready. It wouldn't boot up when I went to pick it up. They took it in the back and told me they knew what had happend and I could pick it up the next day.

It seemed to work OK the next day so I paid them and took it with me. It only lasted for one day and it was back in same condition. I called and wound up taking it back a second time.

I picked it up for the 3rd time the day we left to return home and it was working.

Got home and it quit again. I sent this computer to them via ups two more times and it was returned supposedly fixed. It wasn't and I asked if they would just refund my money. So far no refund. Its been several months.

I have also learned that this company has had many unresolved complaints locally. I should have better checked them out before giving them my business.

In Myrtle Beach stay away from Seaside Computers Inc.
