They lost my phone number, accused me of porting it, then charge cancellation fee

Voip.com's support is non-existent... Unless you want to troubleshoot your service in a public web forum!
Basically, voip.com allowed my number to be ported to another company, then accused me of issuing the port request, which ABSOLUTELY was not true. I then had no way of getting it back.
After 2 or 3 weeks of not having service, I decided I couldn't do anything else but cancel. It was either that or I get billed for another month's 'service'. I cancelled my account, but was hit with a $39.95 cancellation fee, which is ridiculous, given all the issues I had, plus losing my phone number to oblivion.
They subsequently have stated that I have ported my number out to 3 different companies, all of which is not true. One of the companies they said I ported my number to has not been in business in over 2 years!
Voip.com lacks competency, they lack infrastructure, and they lack integrity.
