False advertising

I ordered an external hard drive that was on their website and paid for it with my credit card. Although I was given a order #, I never received a confirmation email.

The next day when I went to their site, I found they had canceled my order.

When I called and asked why, I was told the price was incorrect and they don't even carry that product. When I inquired as to how this was possible, I was told "so sorry for mistake". They never explained how it happened that were advertising an item that they had never carried, and it was obvious that they knew they had been caught with fraudulent advertising... I can only assume it was to get email addresses or CCD #'s. I asked to have another item substituted and was told that they didn't carry 500gb external drives. I asked this question three times. However, when I went to their web site I found at least seven other similar drives for sale. When told of this fact, I was told that "OK, we do have the drives... But not the one you wanted". I shared with them again that I only needed an 500gb external drive and that the brand didn't matter... And was told "so sorry... Price too cheap... So sorry"
