Suspended for no reason - seller since 1998 - good feedback. No reply! Unfair

My ebay account was suspended without discussion and without giving me a specific reason on 9/10. I have excellent feedback on ebay and have been a seller since 1998.

I need my business to be re-instated in order to live (pay bills, eat etc.) I depend on this money. If I have made a mistake then Ebay should give me the chance to correct it & discuss it with me. I have no idea why I am suspended. I can't imagine what I could have done to deserve this. It is inhuman and un-American to shut a business down without warning, discussion or reasons.

Ebay cannot tell me why I have been suspended. That information is private. There is no human customer service - I only receive automated form letters which state "Abuse of ebay" as the (vague) reason. There is no one from Ebay that I can reach who can tell me anything.

Ebay did ask that I fax info to them... Bank statements, Driver's license etc.
This is actually info that they already have. I thought perhaps they were trying to confirm my identity. But... The final suspension e-mail referred to this info as "evidence"!! Of what? - I have no idea.
They also stated that they must suspend me to keep Ebay safe.
I have done nothing wrong... My feedback says it all... I have (had) many, many happy customers.
They are treating me like a criminal and have removed my income!

With each day of suspension I lose money and customers. I have suffered extreme emotional and financial damage as a result of being put out of business. Why can they get away with this?

I have found on the internet hundreds of people (on various bulletin boards) in this same situation - And devastated.
Also - There are many (favored) Ebay sellers who are breaking obvious Ebay rule and are left alone and are not suspended.

I honestly do not know what I have (supposedly) done. Whatever it is... I should have received a warning with a chance to make it right.

They have ruined the business that took me years to build up. I don't know how I will survive financially.

How can anyone feel safe building an ebay business when at any time they can rip it away without even discussing it with you?
