Domain Renewed Months After Cancellation, Refund Refused

The domain www.knowmyproduct.com belongs to me, and I phoned Yahoo to cancel that name registration. Four months afterward, they charged my credit card for one more year, which left me deeply disappointed. When I called them about it, they were very pleasant and canceled my service immediately, yet they would not give back a cent of my money. When I asked the young woman on the line for a supervisor, she ended the call on me.

I chose a company like Yahoo because its well-known brand meant something to me; to me it signaled that they could be trusted. That turned out to be completely wrong. Rather than knowing my product, I suppose I ought to have known the reputation of my hosting company. Look into it and you will see it is far from great. I will never deal with Yahoo again!
