Ancestry.com
Fraudulent Billing

Internet & Web

I signed up on Ancestry.com with a full understanding of the intricacies involving the cancellation process. After my debit card expired, I expected them to stop billing me for my subscription, especially after the website immediately identified me as a registered guest. Months passed without, during which I was and am still being billed. The website states that there is a way, through "my accounts, " to stop the subscription, but it does not show up for a "registered guest." The website also states that there is no need to unsubscribe as a registered guest because I am not paying for an actual subscription. Despite this, I am still being billed.
