Free trial? It sounds self explanatory but not to them

I was searching the internet for possible sources of income. On 6-28-07, I was contacted by Steven Bartol. He called with a possible opportunity to earn money. He gave me a synopsis of the company and the possibilities that were involved. I explained, very fully, that I was out of work, 62 years old, essentially computer illiterate and had limited funds. Steve explained how easy it would be to start up and that there was a 14 day trial.
On 7-05-07 I sent an e mail asking for a refund and explaining that I was not capable of doing this. The company does have a support line but I didn't even understand what a URL was, or a window or a browser. I decided that instead of trying to do something totally alien, I would be better off taking a computer course and trying again later. I did explain this in my e mail. On 7-9-07 I left a phone message. On 7-10-07 I was contacted by Nichole and she said she would be my mentor. I explained to her that I had cancelled and I was waiting for a refund, she said she would get with Nick and pass along the message.By the time I spoke with anyone my 14 days had expired. I do not believe by accident. Nick called several times trying to convince me to work with someone and do this. What don't they understand? I am intimidated by the computer and I want out.
I finally received a message stating that I would not be charged for any further assistance. Since I had never used their assistance that seemed reasonable but I should still receive my refund of $268.98. It seems that was not part of the refundable monies. A 14 day trial certainly implies that it will be returned if you are not happy! Do I sound happy?
