Basic ISP advertises 'unlimited internet and e-mail access. Go to there web-site and read first line for yourself. I had no problem during the trial period but after first 5 days of next months service I was cut off without explaination.
Everytime I would try to get on line I would get message 'your password has expired.' I never knew passwords could expire. After 2 or 3 days of figuring out how to get them on phone I was told I had used almost 300 hours for this month. This was after 5 days of a months service. I tried my best to figure out how I had been online 300 hours in 5 days but I could only figure there were only 120 hours in 5 days.
When I ask about the fact that they advertise unlimited internet access the first words I heard were ah, ah, ah, ah, Yes but it's unlimited according to our disgression. I was then told they would 'GIVE ME', 5 extra hours to last me the next 25 days. I never got one more minute. I called and cancelled and was told that I would be refunded $4.71 within 7 to 10 days and I have yet to see that.
Now some big-wig clown from Basicisp comes on and claims they never advertised 'UNLIMITED INTERNET ACCESS'.
It's like going into a all-you-can-eat resturant and if you go back for second helpings you are roughly escourted to the door and then out in the street.
No explantion, no appologies, no refunds, no NOTHING.
You are more than welcome to take Basic's company man's word or you can just read his rebuttal and the go look at 1st line of Basic's Home Page ad.
Then you decide for yourself who is the liar. Apparently they don't know the meaning of the word TRUTH or perhaps they just neglected to read what they themselves wrote.
