AT&T AT&T promised a $50 rebate for the modem but has not paid after 4 months and multiple calls Ripoff

In Feb I started service with AT&T for phone and internet service. AT&T advertised a $50 rebate to accompany their internet service. I mailed in the rebate exactly as instructed. Its been 4 months now and I've called twice. After the second call, the customer svc rep is still telling me to wait another 4 weeks for the check. Hhuumm... That will make it 5 months.

Maybe AT&T is earning lots of interest on un-distributed rebate checks?
