Fraud - Fake Rebate! Ripoff

I purchased a USModular 1 gig MicroSD card through Buy.com because the advertised a $17.00 rebate. I carefully checked the requirements and and sent all the requested items into them within the time frame. After 12 weeks I still had not received the rebate so I emailed them at the email address they had on the bottom of the rebate form. The rebate said to contact them at rebates@usmodular.com if the rebate had not come within 12 weeks...

I made photocopies of everything I sent them.

So far I have sent them 8 emails asking about the status of the rebate. I have not received a single reply. I contacted them through their online complaint form and have not received a reply. The online complaint form is at http://www.usmodular.com/MCE/default/0/customerComplaint

They also post the email address satisfaction@usmodular.com for you to contact if you don't get a reply. All email I sent to this address is returned as rejected by recipient.

USModular has commited fraud by advertising a rebate and not paying the rebate. They have compounded their ripoff by not replying to emails sent to the address that they have specifically for the purpose of finding out the status of a rebate. This kind of company does not deserve to be in business and I am making it my mission to educate everyone about their fraudulent bussiness practice.

I am also filing complaints against Buy.com for their part in advertising the fraud. Emails sent to them are not repsonded to either.
