USModular BUY
Rebates are a HOAX ripoff

I purchase 1GB micro SD from Buy.com with US Modular rebate. Shipped 3/21. Rebate submitted 3/28. Waited the 12 weeks - no rebate. Have been faxing or emailing every business day since the 12 week timeframe. No response at all. Seems like SOP for US Modular. Check their web site and just try to contact them.

I just tried to contact BUY.com to see if they can get involved - I'll update if that works, but I will not buy another USModular product (Unfortunately I have another rebate with them for the 2 GB version and I suspect I'll be writing another report in a short while.) Too bad - I've not had problems with any other BUY.com rebate.
