I ordered something from Homeclick.com. It was the wrong item so I planned to return it. The return policy is complicated, you have to wait to get a code to return the item. Then, you have to return the item in it's original packing (unopened) then place that in a new bigger return box. You have to label the box according to their specifications. Then, you pay to ship it back to them. Then, there is a 25% restocking fee (which is stated on the website), however, this is only 25% of the product amount. It doesn't include $9 shipping and handling (which they state is not a shipping fee). So, I spent $9 handling, $8 to pack and ship it back, and $7 restocking fee, just to find out the product was incorrect. When you try to call, there is a 10-15 minute hold for customer service and multiple times after waiting they have hung up on me.
So the website only states there is a 25% restocking fee, not that you have to repackage, pay for return shipping and the handeling fee is not included in your refund.
