Money held and account locked over former employer's debt

PayPal is trying to say I am linked with another company that I worked for. Now they will not let me get to my money. They have locked my account until that company, which owes them money, pays them back. This company has nothing to do with me. I would buy things from them and also get paid by them through PayPal.
